DMCA Policy
FounderKendra respects intellectual property rights. This policy explains how to submit a copyright takedown notice under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and what happens afterwards.
1. Sending a takedown notice
If you believe content on FounderKendra (including member profile photos and other uploaded material on Sangam or Founder HQ) infringes your copyright, send a notice to legal@founderkendra.com with:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim was infringed.
- The URL of the material you believe is infringing.
- Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
2. What we do
Valid notices are actioned within 24 hours on weekdays: the reported material is removed or disabled and the affected member is notified. We maintain a repeat-infringer policy — accounts that repeatedly infringe copyright are terminated.
3. Counter-notice
If your material was removed and you believe it was misidentified, send a counter-notice to the same address with your signature, identification of the removed material and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was a mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court.
4. Repeat infringers
We terminate the accounts of members who are repeat copyright infringers.
